I am responsible for coordinating and overseeing a variety of projects and programmes at the NbSI, including for Sprint 3 (Scaling up nature-based solutions in the UK) of the Agile Initiative and the interactive global map of NbS case studies, among others. I was one of the lead organizers of the NbS Conference 2022 and also currently act as personal assistant to Prof Nathalie Seddon.
My interdisciplinary background blends nature-based solutions, plant ecology and biology with sustainable food systems expertise. I hold an MSc. in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, and a BSc. in Environment and Food Production, with a minor in International Agriculture from McGill University in Canada. Particularly interested in Latin America, I focused my Masters dissertation research on payments for ecosystems services and indigenous sovereignty in the Peruvian Amazon. I am especially well-versed in permaculture and regenerative agriculture, holding a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC). At the NbSI, I am responsible for developing the Global Interactive Map of NbS case studies, as well as being one of the NbS Conference 2022 coordinators.
