Luke McCarvill

I am broadly interested in the energy & climate sphere, having recently completed the MSc in Environmental Change and Management here at Oxford, and before that, a BSc in Sustainable Design Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island: the university of my home province in Canada. I’m now in the Interdisciplinary Life and Environmental Science Doctoral Training Programme (ILESLA DTP), where my doctoral research takes place in David Howey’s Battery Intelligence Lab. I am attempting to improve solar electricity forecasts by developing and deploying a network of low-cost irradiance sensors.
