My work focuses on maternal health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on measurement challenges, pregnancy loss, and postpartum outcomes. I am working with Dr. Joshua Wilde on the SEXRATIO project, where I am investigating the effect of ambient air pollution on pregnancy loss through the sex ratio at birth. I am interested in how climate exposures, including deteriorating air quality and extreme heat, affect maternal outcomes and postpartum recovery.
