New insights into atmospheric circulation over Tibetan Plateau

A new study published in the journal PLOS ONE  demonstrates how the top of the atmospheric boundary layer over the Tibet reaches a top height of 9.4 km and how it enhances the mixing of air between the troposphere and the stratosphere. This is important as it can have an impact on concentration of gases as ozone on the surface at the Tibetan Plateau. You can read more about this study here.
