Sebastian Engelstaedter

Climate Research Analysis Officer

Sebastian’s work is focused primarily on processes controlling the spatial and temporal variability of atmospheric dust occurrence in North Africa as well as the World’s desert regions in general. Through the current project ”Fennec – The Saharan Climate System”, he is specifically interested in links between the Saharan Heat Low and atmospheric dust.

Nick Eyre

Leader, ECI Energy Research Programme

Nick’s long term research interest is the role of public policy in reducing energy demand, improving energy efficiency and climate mitigation. His approach draws on analysis showing that progress will require a combination of technical, social and policy change. His current research interests cover: Energy market reform; Policy instruments for energy efficiency; The low carbon energy transition; The role of local government, trade groups and local communities; Decarbonisation of heat.
