Senior Researcher in Energy Modelling

Russell is a computational physicist with over 10 years’ experience in environmental applications including remote sensing, African climatology, glaciology and energy. Current and recent interests include modelling UK household energy use, degree days for energy management, non-domestic energy monitoring and management, real-time tariffs and UK grid modelling and analysis.

Renee Lee

Postdoctoral Researcher

Renee works on the use of molecular biology to decipher how biological processes affect the biogeochemical cycles of trace metals in the oceans.

Julia Lee-Thorp

Professor of Archaeological Science

Julia applies stable light isotope methods to questions about palaeoclimates and environments in Africa and in Europe. She is interested in the links between the establishment of C4 vegetation and early hominin diet in Africa, and in the influence of changing environmental conditions on the lifeways of archaic and modern humans in Africa and Eurasia.
