Ray’s research interest include the physics of climate, especially regarding the long term evolution of the climates of solar system and extrasolar planets. Water vapor and global change, Baroclinic instability, Hamiltonian chaos and fluid mixing.

Mark’s research interests include the study of archaeological materials, the investigation of biogeochemical processes, and numerical applications in archaeology and palaeoclimatic reconstruction.
Christopher Bronk Ramsey

Much of Christopher’s current research is directed to improving radiocarbon as a method for quaternary research. He is a member of the international INTCAL committee that oversees the calibration of radiocarbon.

Steve’s research interests include: the relationship between nature and society as mediated by science and technology; management of environmental and technological risk; climate change and sustainable development; governance of emerging technologies. He is also Co-Director of the Programme on the Future of Cities and Co-Director of the Oxford Geoengineering Programme.
