Sarah Darby

Deputy leader, Lower Carbon Futures group

Sarah’s research interests centre on how people learn about energy and the environment and apply what they have learned, and on how technologies are adopted and adapted in practice. From 2007-10 she held a Research Councils UK Energy Programme interdisciplinary fellowship to research into domestic energy feedback, in relation to the development of ‘smart metering’.

PDRA in Astrophysics

Tomos’s work is centred around turbulent stochastic processes, mainly their role in maintaining the large-scale ocean circulation and their parametrizations in climate models

Post Doctoral Researcher

Lucia’s work involves constraining global climate models using in-situ and satellite observations to better estimate the aerosol and cloud radiative forcing that could improve future projections of climate change.
