Tina Fawcett

Senior Researcher

I am currently working on a project called ‘”Building expertise: a systems of professions approach to low-carbon housing refurbishment‘”. This is funded by EPSRC and EDF within the People, Buildings and Energy programme and considers the future of eco-renovation in the UK and France, with a focus on the organisations and professions doing the renovation work. Other research interests include heat pumps and their future role in a low carbon economy, energy use within the higher education sector, personal carbon trading and demand reduction in general.

Fraser Goldworth

DPhil Researcher

Fraser’s research focuses on the circulations of the tropical Atlantic off the East coast of Brazil. He is particularly interested in the stability of flows as they cross the equator. These currents form a key part of the oceanic “conveyor belt” which transports heat from the tropics to the poles.
