With a PhD in Microbiology and over ten years of experience as a Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor, I bring a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology with clinical relevance. I have gained three years of postdoctoral experience conducting research in vaccine development, antigen design, and mRNA vaccine technologies at both the University of Oxford’s Pandemic Sciences Institute and the Jenner Institute. Currently, I am a Calleva Senior Postdoctoral Associate in Prof. Sir Adrian Hill’s group at the Jenner Institute. My research interests focus on developing novel strategies to express antigens using genetic-based vaccine technologies, alongside detailed assessment of their in situ cellular distribution to support the design of more immunogenic and less reactogenic vaccine candidates.
