I am a DPhil student in International Relations at Keble College, University of Oxford. My research focuses on "The Lives and Afterlives of Climate Targets". I specifically look at what temperature targets do for climate governance, and specifically, I am interested in understanding how temperature targets work as a political object around which future imaginaries are made meaningful and affective attachments are organised. To do so, I trace the lives and afterlives of the 1.5°C target across scientific, diplomatic, and civil society arena, to understand how it functions as a central organising horizon for climate politics. I completed a Masters in International Relations at the University of Glasgow, and before this, I received a Bachelor in International Relations from the University of Birmingham.
