Chen Xiang is an assistant professor of climate policy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is also research associate at Harvard-China Project on Energy, Economy, and Environment at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the politics of climate change, aiming to bridge the gap between science and effective policymaking. She also studied nationalism and public opinion in Mainland China, Taiwan, and the US. Her research has appeared in International Affairs, The China Quarterly, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Environmental Science & Policy, Energy for Sustainable Development, among other journals.
