Maud is an established expert in international criminal law, international humanitarian law, human rights, and a leading authority in developing creative legal solutions to address environmental and climate challenges. Her most recent projects focus on environmental crimes, ecocide, the right to a healthy environment, and the critical need for collaboration among lawyers, policymakers, and scientists. At the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme, she is the Head of the Secretariat of the Climate Research Forum, a collaboration between several universities and practitioners from around the world to advance collaboration on issues at the intersection of law and climate change.
