Róisín Kennelly is a DPhil researcher in Anthropology at the University of Oxford. Her research explores human dimensions of climate-change by engaging with critical intersections of adaptation, infrastructure, technology, and environment in the Faroe Islands. Working at interfaces of environmental anthropology and science and technology studies (STS), she is interested in the impact of renewable energy infrastructures on interactions and constructions of human-environmental contexts, and their implications for adaptation in remote, Arctic communities. She is connected to the Institute of Science, Innovation, and Society (InSiS) at the University of Oxford and is a visiting researcher at the University of the Faroe Islands.
